The Beach to Bay Relay Marathon has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. The committee has put together some frequently asked questions in order to minimize some common mistakes made pertaining to entering the race and to provide responses to some easily answered questions.

Will you accept copies of a race application?

• Of course, no problem, we will be more than glad to accept copies. You can also download a copy of the race application on this website or please register online. Please look over this website to ensure that your team has the most up to date information for the 33rd running of the Beach to Bay Relay Marathon.

Neatness Count! Please print neatly on your race application!

• It is important to us and to you that we have the correct spelling of your team’s runners.

Most Important One (1) Check/Money Order per team

• Please enclose only one (1) check per team entry. This truly helps with our accounting. If you are entering multiple teams, one (1) check is acceptable as well.

We will not tell how old you are

• Ages on the race application are mandatory for insurance purposes

Affidavit of Fact

• We run a clean race so no swearing except on the Affidavit of Fact. The only team category that requires the Affidavit of Fact to be filled-out is School Teams and Commercial Teams

Get out of the Sun

• If your team would like to have a tent, at Cole Park on race day you must first contact Beach to Bay Race Director at 361/881-6166, please leave a message

Area you under 18 years of age

• If you are under 18 years of age, your parents or legal guardian must sign your race application. If you are registering online when your parents read and click, the affidavit will authorize your entry

• Please do not wait until the last minute to get us your application. It is simple to apply either online or download a copy of the application on this website. Dont forget there is a 1200 team limit!

That annoying little card

• The Beach to Bay Relay Marathon processing department mails your team’s confirmation card as they are processed. Please use your home address online or on the application. We use bulk mail for mailing and the post office may not recognize your business address under your name.

I lost that annoying little card, what do I do?

• Ok breathe first and go the Information and Change Table on Packet Pickup day and we will be more than happy to look up your teams information.
